Carolyn Gray
Editor
Carolyn Gray has an MFA in Writing from the University of Saskatchewan and is published in drama, fiction, and non-fiction. She won the John Hirsch Award for Most Promising Manitoba Writer and the Manitoba Day Award for Excellence in Archival Research. Her term as the Winnipeg Public Library Writer-in-Residence ended in the pandemic.
Lindsey Childs

Lindsey Childs has worked in Winnipeg’s arts community for several years, and has been at Prairie Fire since 2016. She holds a B.A. in English and Creative Writing from the University of Winnipeg. She is a writer, artist and crafter who explores themes of nature and whimsy.
Janine Tschuncky

Janine Tschuncky has had the pleasure of working with Prairie Fire Press since 2001. For the preceding seven years, she was the managing editor for Contemporary Verse 2. Her work has been published in various journals and she is the author of Queen of Rice Lake, a series of fictional stories set in the Bissett area, published in chapbook form. She is also Prairie Fire’s practicum coordinator and has mentored over thirty students in publishing, communication and leadership for the past fifteen years.
Marjorie Poor
Fiction Editor
Marjorie Poor is a publications editor for Manitoba Education and Training, the editor of Prairie books NOW, and now a fiction editor at Prairie Fire. Her poetry has appeared in Prairie Fire and at Theatre by the River’s annual fundraiser, Wine & Words, and is forthcoming in the digital edition of Vallum and in the fall 2019 issue of Cv2. She lives in Winnipeg.
Barbara Schott
Poetry Editor
Barbara Schott has always lived in Winnipeg, although her work as a fashion stylist frequently takes her to Asia. She is the author of The Waterlily Pickers (chapbook, Turnstone, 1989) and Memoirs of an Almost Expedition (Brick, 1999). In 2010 she won Descant’s Winston Collins “Canadian Poem of the Year” contest for “Thin Ice.”

Rory Runnells is the former Artistic Director of the Manitoba Association of Playwrights, reviewer for the Winnipeg Free Press, and essayist for the Manitoba Opera program.

Cozy Cuddler takes work very seriously and insists on doing several laps of zoomies upon arriving at work to show us she's good to go. As our Chief Cuddle Officer, she specializes in belly rubs, hugs, playing keep away, jumping for treats and power naps. This kibble connoisseur brings a "Cozy-ness" to the office that we just adore!
